2017 – Girl Power

Alexa Café

As the world’s #1 tech camp for kids and teens since 1999, we’re constantly dreaming up new ways to spark students’ love for technology—it’s why we’ve created Alexa Café for girls.

Collaboration takes place in small, close-knit clusters, and BIG ideas come to life around café tables. With an emphasis on entrepreneurship, leadership, brand identity, and empowerment, you’ll build tech skills in a unique, stylish setting, alongside tech-savvy mentors.

Our all-girls summer camp features week-long day and overnight sessions, personalized instruction, and a maximum of just 8 students per instructor.

Whether you’re designing a sleek webpage or learning to code creatively, technology shouldn’t be intimidating or uninspired. In the right environment, it’s cool. Meaningful. Life-changing.

Go Girls! CampGirlVentures

Go Girls! is not just a summer camp. It’s a movement. We are igniting a Compassion Revolution by putting girls center stage.

At Go Girls! camp girls learn and practice social and emotional skills through the arts. Over two weeks, rising first through fourth grade girls practice theater, expressive arts, and music and make and perform their very own original play that promotes pro-social values.

Older girls (rising fifth and sixth grade) at our media camp produce, edit, direct, and star in their own short films. All the while, the girls are led by qualified, talented and friendly teaching artists and teen assistants.

Go Girls! Camp and Go Girls! Productions run from June 19th-August 18th in Oakland and Berkeley in two week sessions. The day is designed to include the perfect balance of facilitated community building time, arts-based instructional time, and plenty of free play.

The session culminates in a showing of the original plays and films created by the girls, sharing their peaceful, powerful creations with friends and family.

Looking for the Go Girls! experience for an older girl? Check out our “GGLT” Counselor in Training program (7th-9th grade).
