All of Aurora’s camps are open to kids entering grades K-6. Our small groups offer campers individual attention and loads of fun! Extended care is available.

Our 2017 lineup includes:

Theater Arts Camp: musical instrument building, set design, and a rich mix of song, dance, and acting. This year’s show is “The Hills Are Alive! (with the Sound of Music)”
4-Week Session: July 5 – 28

Creators + Explorers: a mix of woodshop, coding, cooking, gardening, sports, and crafts! Full day and half day sessions.
Session 1: June 19 – 23
Session 2: June 26 – June 30
Session 3: July 31 – August 4

Adventures in Writing:
This two-week “day camp” program allows campers to write, edit, and publish their own eBooks or blogs under the guidance of professional authors and credentialed teachers.

Bandworks Rock ‘n’ Roll Summer Camp

For kids 8+, BandWorks Rock n’ Roll Camp is open to beginners through advanced, older teen players. Professional musician-instructors create a fun and supportive environment while teaching kids skills needed to play in a rock band-and make new friends, too!

Week-long Summer Full-or-Half-Day Camps offer a variety of classes throughout the summer.  By the end of camp, students are rocking out in a live performance.  Camps run from June 12th through August 18th.  Locations in Oakland, San Rafael, and Los Altos.

Bay Area Shakespeare Camp

Immerse yourself in the world of play and performance, under the guidance of trained theater professionals!  Experience welcome but not required.

Camps meet Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm for two weeks.  A performance for family and friends is presented on the final day of each session, followed by a celebratory cast party!  Summer 2017 Shakespeare Players (ages 7-13) will perform Hamlet, Twelfth Night, or Shakespeare’s Ghost Stories.  Upstart Crows (ages 12-18) will perform Julius Caesar.

Cazadero Music Camp

Cazadero Music Camp offers a unique program of intensive musical instruction and outdoor recreation. Located on 33 acres in Sonoma County California, Cazadero is nestled under towering redwood trees.

We have 5 camp sessions in a 7 week period that are arranged progressively in age (5th – 12th grade) and ability.

Each week renowned conductors from all over California and the world arrive to work with our campers, giving them an experience of a lifetime.

Musical offerings include Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Piano, and Guitar.

Campers will also have a choice of musical and non-musical electives that may include jazz improvisation, chamber music, art & crafts, nature, or sports.

Your aspiring circus performers will​ ​reach new heights​ ​in our Circus Arts & Sky High Aerials summer camps!​ ​

Kinetic Arts Center’s summer camps run from 9am – 4pm. Drop off as early as 8:45am at no additional charge! Aftercare is available from 4-6pm.

Circus Arts students will​ ​learn to tumble and move in our EPIC obstacle courses​ ​& giggling will be encouraged as we refine those budding juggling skills! Students will be offered an aerial emphasis class daily.

Our Sky High Aerials camp is perfect for students with high aspirations! Students new to aerial arts will be introduced to aerial hoop, static & single point trapeze, rope & tissue. Aerialists with more experience will learn how to link tricks with seamless transitions.

Doug’s Drama- Summer Drama Camps

One of the East Bay’s most popular drama camps for over 20 years!  Doug’s Drama is once again offering four-2 week sessions of drama camp in Oakland.
