CAMP 510 is a values-driven summer day camp for ages 6-14 with the mission to cultivate confident and creative young makers. In the spirit of D-I-T (do it together!), campers are equipped with the right tools in a participatory community environment; guided through unique projects by professional artists and makers.

2019 camp offerings include metal sculpture, origami, comics, zines, capoeira, musical instruments, cooking, sewing, recycled art, and more!

CAMP 510 is located on the Park Day School campus in Temescal, Oakland.

Camp Be’chol Lashon

Camp Be’chol Lashon is a multicultural Jewish leadership camp that teaches about global Jewish diversity, builds community leaders, and inspires a love of Judaism.

The camp is held at beautiful Walker Creek Ranch in West Marin, an hour north of San Francisco.

Camp Be’chol Lashon is for campers ages 8-18, with special leadership opportunities for ages 15-18. Campers come from all over the United States and around the world.

Camp Be’chol Lashon is the only summer camp focused on Jews as a multicultural people. While ALL children are invited to be part of a global Jewish community, Camp Be’chol Lashon provides ethnically and racially diverse Jews with an opportunity to see themselves as an integral part of the Jewish people.

Camp Brushstrokes & Summer Workshops

CAMP BRUSHSTROKES : [ages 5 – 9]
[Mon. – Fri. 9 am – 3 pm] Early Care at 8:15, After Care until 6 pm
Campers explore each week’s theme through pottery painting, glass fusing, mosaics, hand-building with clay, drawing, painting and more! Each day will feature two large guided projects, along with free time for crafting, coloring, playing with clay, games and toys, reading books, and stretching our legs outside. The techniques and materials campers work with will deepen their artistic self expression and help with creative problem solving, collaboration and resilience. Our instructors will share inspiration from art history, scientific discoveries, art practices from around the world, and the beauty in nature.

SUMMER WORKSHOPS : [ages 10 – 14] Mon. – Fri. every other week starting June 15th
Fine Art – Drawing & Painting [9 am – 1 pm]
Students explore classical elements of design and composition – value, color, movement, expression, and more – through a variety of media such as pencil, charcoal, watercolor, and acrylic paint.
Creations in Clay [1 pm – 5 pm]
Students will master key techniques of hand-building with clay while also learning about surface design as they add color and texture to their clay creations.

Cooking Round the World Summer Camp Series

A Cooking Round the World camp immerses a child in a cooking and cultural exploration.

Each Cooking Round the World camp day we cook and eat from multiple recipes, read a folktale, play an international/national game, observe a cooking demonstration, and learn to think critically about the foods we just cooked.

Join us for Family Camp at Oakland Feather River Camp (OFRC) – a family tradition for ALL AGES since 1924! Located in the High Sierra in beautiful Plumas National Forest near Quincy, CA – a roughly 4 hour scenic drive from Oakland, OFRC has all the components of a family vacation with no hassle or planning!

Enjoy traditional camp activities, hikes, life-guarded swimming hole and campfires. Each week has a special theme including:
