Opening Doors Through Social Media
Social media has made an enormous impact on society, with positive and negative effects — you need only reflect on the recent Presidential election to see the measure of its influence.
As it’s now a case of managing social media or its managing us, Suzanne Frew’s introductory lecture is not to be missed!
Topics will include:
* What are the strengths and weaknesses of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram?
* How can social media be a megaphone for nonprofits to reach their communities?
* Can online networking help you meet new people, launch a job search or see your organization grow?
There will also be a question/answer session to explore areas of specific interest.
Suzanne Frew is President of The Frew Group, a company specializing in social media. Suzanne develops and leads workshops and training for government officials and community-based organizations.
