Have Fun, Learn A Lot & Make New Friends at Camp Brainy Bunch!
Camp Brainy Bunch is about giving kids a place and time to dream about the amazing people they will become. Each week our campers try on a new identity as young doctors, lawyers, writers, engineers, inventors, and broadcasters. We hire experienced educators to lead our innovative curriculum and create a strong, silly, and supportive camp community.
Each location will have programs specific to rising 1st-2nd graders, 3rd-4th graders, and 5th-6th graders. In addition to our curriculum, which runs from 9AM until 3PM, we offer extended care options from 8AM to 5:30PM.
Join us at one of our locations throughout the Bay Area: San Francisco, Fremont, Orinda, Dublin, Oakland, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, Millbrae, and San Carlos.
Science, Critical Thinking & Humanist Values – A Special Blend of Fun & Freethought
Roaming the great outdoors. “Aha moments” of discovery. Stargazing and contemplation. Mesmerizing campfires. Rousing songs.
We combine world-class science and critical thinking interactive activities with a traditional all-American outdoor sleep-away camp experience. Built upon the values of Humanism, scientific inquiry, social responsibility, and the wonder of nature, this is a place where campers can learn and grow in a tolerant environment of support, inclusion, and diversity where we openly discuss what it means to be a skeptic, a scientist, a philosopher, a feminist, a leader, a free thinker, a Humanist.
“Just wow. This was my daughter’s second year, and she hasn’t stopped raving about her favorite activities, songs, and challenges. She actually came home noticeably more mature and thoughtful this year, with various new interests. Camp Quest West staff are invaluable. Thank you.” – Joby on Facebook
If we could leave the kids who take Cooking Round the World classes with a message it’s that the world is a wonderful, complicated, reachable and beautiful place to explore and learn about. I hope to leave Cooking Round the World students with a taste of the world and an interest in making the unknown embraceable.
