Martial Arts and Japanese Culture Summer Camp 2018

Space Bar A-Z L Holder Hanabi Judo logoSpace Bar A-Z M Logo

Hanabi’s Martial Arts and Japanese Summer Camp is a fun, active introduction to the traditions of Japan: an adventure in physical and cultural education for children from 5 to 15.

Every themed session will have children learning judo (a requirement in Japanese schools), Japanese songs, Japanese stories as well as the main artistic, linguistic or culinary activity.

At Hanabi learning is fun.  Whether we are rolling, running, story telling or speaking Japanese, we use both our bodies and minds to expand our abilities and experiences.  Hanabi offers a positive learning environment where respect for “Sensei” – and for everyone – comes as naturally as smiling.

Session Theme:

1: June 18– June 22 Japanese Language and Writing

2: June 25 – June 29 Sushi 1

3: July 2 – July 6 “Tanabata” Star Festival

4: July 9 – July 13 Origami

5: July 16 – July 20 Pokemon
