At Camp EDMO, kids develop their creative capacity, unleash their inner scientist and technologist, and plumb the mysteries of the natural world.  They lose themselves in STEAM-infused activities designed in concert with experts from brilliant museums.

Young people are inspired to accept themselves and others, push their boundaries with confidence and, most importantly, act with real kindness and compassion. Kids grow on lots of levels. This entire experience is the product of the EDMO Method we’ve been perfecting since 2004. Your kids will love it, and they’ll learn from it.

2019 age-targeted sessions include:  Critter Kingdom, Tiny Techies, Curious Chemists, Roblox Action Academy, Minecraft Code Masters, YouTube Star, Ecology College, and more.  Every day includes magnificent staff, rallies, outdoor rec games, team challenges, cheers and —The EDMO Vibe Game.

Voted Bay Area’s “Best Summer Camp”—10 years running.  Camp runs June–August in Oakland, as well as 30+ other Bay Area and Sacramento Region locations.  Dates may vary by location.  Optional AM/PM Programs.  Learn more and enroll at campedmo.org.

QuantumCamp

Quantum Camp Logo

Spend your summer as a scientist with QuantumCamp.  An excellent blend of science and fun!  Space available all weeks, including camp on July 5th, 6th, and 7th.   Grades 1st to 8th.

QC believes that kids are innate scientists – they have boundless curiosity and continually explore and experiment with their physical world.  As a team of educators, we create an environment where this curiosity flourishes!

Our camps provide a socially and intellectually exciting setting for kids to engage in scientific exploration.  We ask driving questions to campers, and provide a fun environment to experiment and make findings while deepening their understanding of our universe.  By designing a camp experience where kids are scientists, we encourage them to apply their curiosity, while enjoying the summer!

At QC, we believe making this happen requires 3 things:

* Educators who love science

* Materials for kids to build with and experiment

* Time for theory, design, and lab work resulting in individualized week-long projects
