Camp Elmwood:  An Urban Adventure for Campers Ages 6- 13 and
Teen Leadership Camp for Teens Ages 14-18:  July 25-29, 2016

CAMP SCHEDULE:  August 1-5, 2016 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. AND until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, for a family barbeque at 5:15 p.m. and program at 6:00 p.m.

ACTIVITIES:  Art, basketball, volleyball, ping pong, lawn games, music, drama, dance, science, cooking, swim-hike, talent show, community service and opportunities for leadership.

WHAT TO EXPECT:  Under the Redwoods at St. John’s you will find a place of peace and acceptance, where we value the abilities and interests of each camper and all are welcome.

COST:  $80 for the first camper and $75 for additional family members.  Scholarship are available via the registration form.  After Care from 2:00-5:30 p.m. is also available for $30 per camper.  Each camper will bring his or her own lunch, a reusable water bottle and a food contribution for our Friday BBQ.

Cooking Round the World is the juncture where cultural exploration meets culinary arts!  Each camp day we cook… and eat… 6 different dishes from the country or state of the day.  Additional activities include a slide show, language education, a folktale, an international game, afternoon game show, an outdoor run around, and our rendition of “Chopped!”  Campers come away with respect for difference, a broadened pallet, and a desire to become a citizen of the world! Educational!  Delicious!  Fun!

The Annual East Bay Kidz Summer Math Camp is a fun, 3-week investigation into mathematics, ESPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE STRUGGLING!  This summer camp for 4th-8th graders focuses on key math building blocks, developing math confidence, along with engaging game-based and hands-on activities.

The 2016 Annual East Bay Kidz Summer Math Camp for 4th-8th graders is taught by the Bay Area’s most sought-after math learning specialists, who come from the public school classroom and utilize Making Math Real-based methods and strategies in their teaching.  This special 3-week, small group summer program will provide an investigative, prescriptive & fun environment for your child to get the extra support they may need to get a head start on the school year.

DATES & TIMES:  2016 Summer Camp Session: July 25-August 12.  The 3-week camp session runs Monday through Friday from 9am-12pm daily.

Whether your child is a giant animal lover and just wants to spend a week doing everything animal, or they need a little experience and education before you add a furry friend to the family, our summer camp program will be purr-fect for them!

Animal camp is educational and fun! Through hands on lessons, animal interactions and many animal themed activities children of all age levels have an opportunity to engage and foster care for the animals at both our Dublin and Oakland facilities.  Limited financial assistance for qualified applicants is available.

Our Sky High Aerials camp is perfect for students with high aspirations! Students new to aerial arts will be introduced to aerial hoop, static & single point trapeze, rope & tissue. Aerialists with more experience will learn how to link tricks with seamless transitions.

For nearly 30 years, the Roleplay Workshop has offered the unique Abantey roleplay programs for youth, using an interactive storytelling game to teach real life skills in a creative, imaginary setting.

Participants work together to solve dilemmas using logic and common sense, learning math, sciences and ethics along the way.  Our adult game masters provide a supportive mentoring environment, and are experienced with a variety of learning styles, including special needs.
